Recoverit: Advanced Oil Recovery Technology

Paulex Environmental are the new exclusive UK and Ireland distributors for Recoverit, the revolutionary, re-useable oil recovery system.

• Recoverit is a revolutionary environmentally friendly solution for hydrocarbon pollution that is manufactured from recycled materials, making it one of the few recycled products on the market that can be repeatedly recycled and reused.
• Recoverit is a light weight granule that efficiently adsorbs oils and hydrocarbons while also effectively suppressing and absorbing hazardous vapours from the products it absorbs.
• Recoverit can be used to adsorb oils from water, forming an easily handled floating glutinous gel, adsorbing up to 25 times its own weight, of which less than 0.1% will be water. Recoverit can be coloured for easy spotting from the air and can refloat oil from the seabed.
• Recoverit can be used to process contaminated soils and sands on-site, enabling hydrocarbons to be recovered and recycled, soils and sand to be remediated and returned to their excavations which minimises waste and the subsequent burden on landfills.
• Recoverit can be used as a filter to extract hazardous fumes and vapours from vents and confined spaces such as fuel cells, motorway tunnels, industrial premises, tankers etc...
• One kilogram of Recoverit can adsorb up to 600 litres of hydrocarbon through re-use and, as a lightweight product, is ideal for air transport, enabling a rapid response to distant spill incidents.
• Recoverit is easily separated from absorbed hydrocarbons by high speed centrifuge. The Recoverit is returned to its original form and ready for re-use. The recovered oil can be recycled, eliminating the hazardous waste usually created when using absorbents.
